I recently took my 2008 Toyota Tundra to Glendora Toyota for an issue with fluctuating voltage that was affecting my electrical components and throttle response. After some initial troubleshooting, I suspected the ECM might be the problem.The diagnostic fee started at $195, which I expected, but I soon received a call informing me that the technician needed more time to investigate, raising the minimum charge to 3 hours at $199/hour. While the cost stung a bit, I agreed, and they found that the internal regulator of my alternator (a non-OEM part I had installed myself) was causing fluctuating voltages to the ECM. They recommended replacing it with an OEM alternator for an additional $300.I approved the repair, though there was a two-day delay for the part to arrive. Once it did, they replaced it without charging extra for labor, and my truck is now running perfectly again. While it was there, I also opted for a transmission fluid swap, which added $275 to the total bill.Overall, I’m grateful that the dealership resolved the issue and my Tundra is back to normal. The team seemed knowledgeable, and the repair was thorough. However, the high costs, especially for diagnostics, were hard to swallow. If you’re bringing an older vehicle, be prepared for the possibility of extra expenses, but you can expect quality work.I would like to note that Jonathan at the service department was very attentive and helpful, he kept me in the loop the entire time and called me often with updates. He made the entire experience MUCH more convenient. Thanks Jonathan!

Had my Vehicle worked on and Johnathan helped me stay informed with what was needed and the time frame in which it would be completed. He also sent a follow up text when I could pick it up. When I got there I was help by Savannah, very sweet and polite young lady, she let her team know I was there for pick. I have 3 Toyota’s and I have them all serviced at this location. Excellent service and nice people.

Service was excellent except for an addition to the original quote. Two additions were suggested. One had a price quote, which I did not accept, the other did not, but it was only changing a filter, which was an excellent suggestion. So I took that one thinking in terms of pre inflation. When I checked out, the cost was a hundred dollars. This is not acceptable so I’ll be looking for another mechanic since Toyota of Glendale does not comply with rules and law. Additionally, I was not notified that my car was done 3 hours before I called. Very poor service.
